Shirt #43 follows Shirt #42 perfectly. Both shirts were made during a period where I was on the verge of birthing new design language.
You can see that struggle in the finished product. The box logo incorporates red, black, and white. The bleach painting is more nuanced than previous iterations. Bleach droplets are scattered. To top it all, we are still seeing the design language from Shirt #3. The elbow patch did add a freshness, but I felt that I wanted to provide more to my customer.
Quite frankly by this point in the process I had become obsessed with going back to drawing board.
Revisiting this shirt in its final form makes me aware, I was tripping.
