At this point, I felt like burning everything I made. All 96 previous shirts in a glorious flame. Instead I made art.
I had seen a building burst into flames. It was a curious coincidence. My two girlfriends had fought each other moments before. Many things burned down that evening.
Months later I hand painted the flames on this shirt. In the background my girlfriend watched “Beef.”
The Muhammad Ali graphic is hand painted with bleach and acetone. The graphic is hand sewn onto a Hunter red plaid flannel.

My favorite feature is the entire image split across the chest. The image is completely sewn on and the jacket is still capable of opening or closing with ease.
